They declined due to time constraints due to the fact that Casey Nezhoda was in charge of taking care of their kids as Rene focused on business. The couple were given an possibility to appear as recurring characters in the fourth season of "Storage Wars". They were purchasers in the first six episodes. They then became their main characters in the subsequent season.
